As my first major design project, Sinta Lab served as the catalyst that pushed me to seriously pursue design as a career. Deeply rooted in my Filipino-American heritage, the project grew into three distinct collections that merged creative storytelling with tangible social impact. I began by designing food-inspired tote bags to raise funds for FIND, Inc.’s District One, followed by a collaborative apparel collection with P.U.S.O. to support their community initiatives. The final collection featured apparel designed for a pop-up restaurant and dinner party hosted with friends. Together, these collections raised a total of $2,500 for non-profit organizations, proving that design can serve as a powerful vehicle for community support and fundraising.
