Spaces of Care is a participatory, multi-format project and collective toolkit designed to invite care providers, nurturers, and supporters to collectively reimagine and document the meanings and rituals of care. Centering intergenerational, gendered perspectives and the often invisible care workforce, the initiative transforms personal reflections into a shared archive of collective resilience and well-being. Developed by a multidisciplinary team of Parsons Strategic Design and Management (SDM) and Design and Technology (DT) practitioners spanning India, Ecuador, and the U.S., the project integrates creative programming, interaction design, print media, and photography. Through storytelling workshops, interactive zine-making, and communal exhibitions, the toolkit redefines caregiving by bridging global and local insights, providing a dedicated space to honor, articulate, and preserve the vital labor of community support.
